Terms and conditions of use

The following conditions regulate the sale of commercial products by Atelier de la Pâtisserie Sagl, which reserves the right to amend them at any time without notice. Consumers are invited to read the conditions carefully when making a purchase from the Atelier de la Pâtisserie Sagl online shop.

General purchase conditions

Product availability

Customers can only buy products currently featured in the electronic catalogue, which can be viewed online at: www.atelierpatisserie.ch. The items selected from the virtual catalogue can then be purchased subject to the following conditions.

Order acceptance / Completion of the contract

The purchase process for the requested items will involve the following steps:

  1. Upon sending their order, the customer submits a purchase order for the selected product(s). The submission of the purchase order implies consent to receive the subsequent notifications described below, which are intended solely for the purchase of completing and fulfilling the sales contract.
  2. Email confirmation of order receipt, which is sent to the customer together with the “Customer Order Number” to be used in all subsequent communications.
  3. The customer may cancel their order within 24 hours of placing the online order by calling +41 (0)91 649 46 66 or by sending an email to negozio@atelierpatisserie.ch

Products

The product characteristics are described in the online catalogue and are visible upon selecting the item and compiling the order before completing the submission process. All our products are handmade, so we can guarantee that our goods are always fresh. Our marrons glacés extra have a shelf life of around 4 weeks. Our chocolates have a shelf life of around 3 months.

Product and delivery prices

All prices (inclusive of VAT and all other taxes and duties) are indicated next to each product in the online catalogue.

Order confirmation

We confirm all internet orders promptly via email. The confirmation email contains the order number, detailed information on the purchased product, purchase price, sender’s address and shipping address.

Consumers are invited to print out the email and keep it safely.

Personal data protection

Protecting your private information is an absolute priority for Atelier de la Pâtisserie Sagl. We undertake to ensure the highest level of data protection and security. Atelier de la Pâtisserie Sagl uses your data exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling your orders. Your email address and personal data will be processed in complete confidentiality and will not be sent to third parties.

Orders via our online shop are made using an order form. The information provided in the form is used to fulfil your order, to confirm your order, for invoicing and, if necessary, to contact you in the event of any clarifications being required. Your data is never used for commercial or advertising purposes. Your credit card details are not stored, but are instead sent directly to your credit card company via an encoded connection at the end of each ordering process, so that the company can validate them.

Our company shall not be held liable for any internet malfunctions, damage caused by third parties, data imports of any kind (viruses, bugs, Trojan malware), or links from or to other websites. We have no control over the content and form of external web pages. We cannot guarantee that the hardware and software will always work perfectly.

We wish to point out that this web page could contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. In no circumstances may our company be held liable to you or third parties for damages of any kind, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, or of any other kind, deriving from the use of this site or another site connected to it via a link. We also decline all responsibility for any loss of earnings, operating interruptions, loss of programs or other data in your computer systems. This also applies in the event of an express warning of the possibility of such damage.

Payments

Atelier de la Pâtisserie Sagl accepts payment by credit card and uses the Payrexx payment server. It accepts the following cards:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Apple Pay
  • Giropay

For payments via invoice: the maximum sum is 500 CHF.

Invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date.

Shipping and delivery

All shipments are handled by the Swiss Post parcel service. All our parcels require a signature, which costs 1.50 CHF.

Buyers can choose between two different shipping types upon placing their order:

  • Economy
  • Priority

The shipping cost will be visible in the online order total calculation. The price invoiced is the one shown next to the product upon completing the order in addition to the shipping charge and VAT on the order total, without taking any later updates into consideration.

Atelier de la Pâtisserie Sagl reserves the right to amend product prices and shipping charges without notice. New prices will come into effect from the moment they are published on the www.atelierpatisserie.ch website and will be applied to sales made from that moment onwards.

Orders received before 3:00 p.m. are normally delivered within 48 hours in Switzerland. Atelier de la Pâtisserie Sagl will do everything possible to ensure its products are delivered to consumers within the timescale indicated.

Consumers are invited to contact Atelier de la Pâtisserie Sagl in the event of delivery delays and to notify us of any poor service received.
